Tuition, Fees & Related Costs

  • Tuition – Instate, approximately $1800/semester x 5 semester (includes program services fee, activity fee & technology access fee, malpractice insurance, books/supplies)
  • Course fee per credit hour – $25
  • Uniforms, lab coat – $200.00
  • Physical exam (pre–clinical) – $300.00
  • Criminal background check – $50.00
  • Drug screening – $50.00
  • Hepatitis B vaccine is required. – Variable
  • CPR (pre–clinical) – $50.00
  • Travel expenses1 – Variable
  • Graduation (cap & gown, diploma, pinning, pictures) – $100.00
  • TN respiratory care license, post graduation – $120.00
  • Credentialing exams, post graduation – $600.00

Fees and expenses are subject to change and so are given only as estimates.
1Transportation to and from clinical sites, including parking fees, is the responsibility of the student. In addition, students attend various professional meetings throughout the program, including the annual TSRC state convention. Students are responsible for expenses (registration fee lodging expenses, etc.) related to attending these meetings.
