Praxis Pre-Professional Skills Test
Columbia State accepts the Praxis 1: Academic Skills assessment for entry into the teacher training program.
The Praxis computer-based exam consists of the following:
- 5712 Core Academic Skills for Educators: Reading
- 5722 Core Academic Skills for Educators: Writing
- 5732 Core Academic Skills for Educators: Mathematics (on-screen four-function calculator provided)
How to apply:
Registration information can be picked up in Testing Services located in the Jones Student Center, room 162 on the Columbia Campus or at any of our other campus locations. You may also register and view sample questions online at: ETS website.
