“Whether you are a seasoned runner or just breaking in your running shoes, this 5K will have something for everyone,” said Bethany Lay, Columbia State vice president for advancement and executive director of the Columbia State Foundation. “The best part is doing something good for the community while having fun.”

Columbia State invites the community to experience the energy of the Williamson Campus while discovering opportunities for students, employers and lifelong learners alike. Proceeds from this event will be used to support students and the Williamson Campus.

“The Chargers 5K, the Chargers Walk and the Chargers Trot showcase Columbia State’s focus on community engagement for members of the community of all ages,” said Dr. Shane Hall, Columbia State vice president of the Williamson Campus and community engagement. “I am thrilled to see the college and the community come together at an event supporting our students to ensure their future. I’ll see you all at the starting line!”
