Columbia State to host Charger Athletic Day
(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Oct. 3, 2017) - - - Columbia State Community College invites the public to attend Charger Athletic Day Oct. 14. Fans will have the chance to meet the players and coaches, and get a sneak peek into the talent to be seen on the field and court this season.
"We are excited to showcase each of our Columbia State athletic teams," said Johnny Littrell, Columbia State athletic director. "This event will give our supporters and visitors a chance to meet the players and coaches in person. We are also excited to see some of our alumni on the Charger field again."
Columbia State men and women's basketball, softball and baseball teams will play scrimmage games at 2 p.m.
Charger fans will have the opportunity to see some familiar faces as alumni softball and baseball players take the field during the game.
The softball concession stand will be open during game activities, and the Columbia State Athletic Booster Club will have a table set up to talk to fans about how to get involved in Booster activities.
The event is free and open to the public, and is located on the Columbia Campus at 1665 Hampshire Pike.
