Columbia State To Host Tennessee Reconnect Bus

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Feb. 27, 2017) - - - Columbia State Community College's Clifton Campus will host the Southwest Tennessee Reconnect Community bus March 10 from 10 - 11:30 a.m.

"Tennessee Reconnect is designed to assist adult learners in meeting their educational goals," said Sidonna Foust, Columbia State Clifton site coordinator. "This is a good resource for adult learners considering the next steps in their college and career path. Our staff at the Clifton Campus remains eager to help students succeed in their transition back to college."

The Tennessee Reconnect bus is for adults who are considering returning to college or attending for the first time to complete a degree and focus on career goals. The Reconnect bus is a mobile college access vehicle that is equipped with the latest technology and wireless connectivity so prospective adult students can speak with Reconnect advisors and Columbia State staff.

"We are excited to partner with the Southwest Tennessee Reconnect Community and the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce," said Joni Allison, Columbia State adult student services coordinator. "Our hope is that this information session will provide adults in the area with the opportunity to learn more about how to take the next steps for their future."

The Clifton Campus is located at 795 Main St., Clifton.

The bus will also be at the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce from 1 - 2:30 p.m., located at 100 Court Circle #301, Waynesboro.
