Columbia State Offers ACT Prep Courses

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - April 28, 2014) - - - Columbia State Community College's Center for Workforce Development is offering an ACT test prep course for Middle Tennessee high school students who plan to take the required national college admissions exam during the summer.

Classes will meet one evening per week for five weeks. The course is fast-paced and covers the five areas of the ACT test: English, math, reading, science and writing. In addition, students will learn test-taking strategies and take practice tests. Fees are $125 per person, and each student will receive a prep guide on the first evening of class.

The course will take place at the following locations:

  • Lewisburg campus May 5 - June 9
  • Columbia campus May 6 - June 3
  • Williamson County campus May 6 - June 3
