Columbia State Offers ACT Prep Course

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Oct. 30, 2013) - - - Columbia State Community College's Center for Workforce Development is offering an ACT test prep course for Middle Tennessee high school students who plan to take the required national college admissions exam.
Classes will meet one evening per week for five weeks. The course is fast-paced and covers the five areas of the ACT test, consisting of English, math, reading, science and writing. In addition, students will learn test-taking strategies and take practice tests. Each student will receive a prep guide on the first evening of class.
The course will take place at the following locations:
• Lawrence County Campus Nov. 5 - Dec. 3
• Lewis County High School Nov. 5 - Dec. 3
• Lewisburg Campus Nov. 5 - Dec. 3
