ACT Prep Classes Available In September

(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Sept. 4, 2013) - - - Columbia State Community College's Center for Workforce Development is offering an ACT test prep course for Middle Tennessee high school students who plan to take the required exam.

Classes will meet one evening per week for five weeks. The classes are fast-paced and cover the five areas of the ACT test, consisting of English, math, reading, science, and writing. In addition, students will learn test-taking strategies and take practice tests. Each student will receive a prep guide on the first evening of class.

This class will be offered at the following locations:

  • Culleoka High School Sept. 12 - Oct. 17
  • Lawrence County campus Sept. 12 - Oct. 17
  • Williamson County campus Sept. 19 - Oct. 17
  • Lewisburg campus Sept. 19 - Oct. 24
