(COLUMBIA, Tenn. - Nov. 5, 2012) - - - Columbia State Community College's First Farmer's Performance Series welcomes the spirit of the holidays when Emile Pandolfi takes the Cherry Theater stage at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13.

"Emile Pandolfi is known for his ethereal quality that seems to go the music's very soul," said Molly Cochran, director of alumni and community relations and events. "There is no lovelier way to approach the holiday season than with this seasonal classic."

Pandolifi's lush arrangements of familiar music have sold more than 2.25 million albums, earning him the distinction of being a top-selling artist in the competitive alternative music industry. Applying classical technique to Broadway and popular music, Pandolfi creates a wonderful blend of sweeping music and familiarity. The Columbia State performance will include Christmas favorites.

Tickets are on sale through Columbia State's ticket office and are $20 for adults and $10 for students. They can be purchased Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in room 108 of the Pryor Administration building or by calling 931.540.2879. The box office opens one hour prior to the performance and is across from the Cherry Theater in the Waymon L. Hickman building.
