COLUMBIA STATE OFFERS DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY BASICS COURSE AT CLIFTON CAMPUS
Course to be Taught by Professional Photographer Mike Serkownek
Columbia State Community College is offering a non-credit "Digital Photography Basics" course on Saturday, March 20 from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Clifton Campus.
The class will teach participants the basics of digital photography including digital cameras, digital camera features, basic exposures, composition and backing up files and handling media.
The instructor, Mike Serkownek, is a professional nature and landscape photographer who travels Tennessee and the United States. He has had photographs published in publications such as "The Tennessee Conservationist," "Nature Photographer" and "Classic Toy Trains."
The fee for the class is $75. Students are asked to bring their own cameras and instruction manuals to learn to better use them.
