Then nominate that graduate for the Alumni Association Alumnus of the Year award. Nominations for the award will be accepted through Friday, January 29, 2009.
To nominate a Columbia State alumnus (certificate or degree) for this prestigious award, please contact Tom Turchetta at (931) 540-2554 or visit http://alumni.columbiastate.edu and complete the online nomination form. This honor is granted annually to a Columbia State graduate who has met criteria established in four key areas: accomplishments at Columbia State, career achievements, personal advancement and service to the community(ies) in which they live.
"The Alumnus of the Year Award is a wonderful honor that is bestowed annually to a deserving alum of Columbia State. It recognizes graduates for their accomplishments at Columbia State and more importantly what they have gone on to do in their careers and community," explains Lynne Williams, president of the Columbia State Alumni Association.
A special committee of the Columbia State Alumni Association has been formed to review all nominations and choose the recipient of the award.
