Louis (Gene) E. Lindsey
Gene was born December 22, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant to the late Erby Lee Lindsey and the late Cora Leigh King Lindsey. He was the husband of the late Georgia Skelton Lindsey. Gene retired from Occidental Chemical after 25 years. He loved music, especially gospel and country and also enjoyed a variety of sports. At one time he coached the softball team for Occidental Chemical.
Mr. Louis E. Lindsey of Maury County named Columbia State Community College in his will to establish a nursing scholarship in honor of him and his wife, Jean Lindsey.
