Thanks to your generosity and community spirit, we are celebrating the 25th Annual J.R. Moon Golf Classic this year! The proceeds from this tournament benefit Marshall County students through scholarships and support of the Columbia State Community College Lewisburg Campus.
Why is this benefit tournament important for Columbia State’s Marshall County students if there is Tennessee Promise and Tennessee Reconnect? These are special scholarships for particular groups of students meeting certain criteria. These two scholarships cover tuition but not books or all fees. Columbia State students vary in age, background, and life situation, and the cost of everything has increased! Your scholarship help through this tournament may be just the encouragement and support they need to bridge the gap!
We look forward to partnering with you again!
About the tournament
The golf classic honors the late Mr. James R. Moon, businessman, industrialist, educator, golf enthusiast and outstanding citizen of Marshall County. The proceeds from this golf tournament benefit Marshall County students through scholarships and support of the Columbia State Community College Lewisburg Campus.
