Camp Overview: Join us this summer for a week filled with innovation and discovery! Innovate & Illuminate offers an engaging platform for rising 6th through 8th graders to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of Arduino microcontrollers. Led by experienced instructor Daniel Garrett, participants will embark on a journey of hands-on learning and creative exploration.
Throughout the week, campers will have the opportunity to build and program a variety of exciting projects, including LED light shows, ultrasonic sensor distance measurements, motor-controlled fans, and much more. From mastering the basics of circuit building to delving into microcontroller programming, students will acquire valuable skills in programming and electronics, all while having a blast!
Who Should Attend: This camp is perfect for students who are curious about technology and eager to unleash their creativity. Whether your child is a beginner or has some experience with electronics, Innovate & Illuminate welcomes participants of all skill levels. No prior experience is necessary, and each camper will receive their own Arduino kit to keep after the camp concludes.
What to Bring: To ensure a comfortable and productive experience, students should bring a water bottle, lunch, and a drink daily. All necessary materials and equipment will be provided, including Arduino kits for each participant.
